Review of "Dostana".

First of all,i have to admit that this is a bold subject as per indian standards!! Though shown in a light-hearted way and with a comic angle,it needs guts to experiment with such subject! I will not reveal the details of the story but one thing is clear from this movie,bollywood is changing in a big way and how! First come to abhishek bacchan's performance-he is simply superb in this karan johar flick.After a string of debacles including drona,jhoom barabar jhoom and laaga chunri mein daag-he is back with a bang,i must admit! Watch out for his expressions while he is pretending to be gay.Next come to john abraham's performance-he is also surprisingly good in this film.The chemistry and camarandie both abhishek & john share on-screen is outstanding and never allows to drag the movie even for a second.The opening shot of the movie shows john coming out of the sea with tiny yellow trunks.He also sports such a underwear in this movie later which will give even mallika sherawat run for her money! In that very shot,his assets are well revealed........ much to the pleasure of girls! Prianka gives a decent performance.Bobby deol is ok.The songs r very well-composed and fits the movie superbly! Cinematography is first-rate,the visuals of miami sweeps off your feet literally!! Overall,it is a light-hearted,breezy enertainer with loads of comic sequences.Expect simple fun and frolic and u won't be dissapointed at all!!

Best of bollywood this year!!

1. This year have witnessed many good as well as miserable films.Let's start with the good ones first! 1.Best film-Jodhaa akbar. 2.Best director-abbas tyrewala(janne tu ya jaane naa) or, abhishek kapoor(rock on) or, ashutosh gowarikar(jodhaa akbar). 3. Best actor-hrithik roshan(jodhaa akbar). 4. Best actress-aishwarya rai(jodhaa akbar) . 5. Best music-a.r.rahman--for jodhaa akbar or jaane tu ya jaane naa. 6.Best background score- a.r.rahman(jodhaa akbar). Besides,i think jodhaa akbar was best in these departments- best action,best art-direction,best costume designing,best dialogue. Newcomer imran khan shone brightest in this year of newcomers and debutants.Now all eyes are on the two new girls on the block-anuska sharma(in rab ne bana di jodi) & asin-south actress(in ghajini).Genelia was a pleasant surprise among the new gals! Now we have to wait till november 14th,when the movie "dostana" opens worldwide in theatres.Then comes the big musical extravanga-Subhas ghai's "yuvraaj" which holds a lot of expectations,next is rab ne bana di jodi-with aditya chopra doning the director's seat after a long hiatus of 8 years with his good old friend shahrukh khan.Whether it will recreate the purity and magic of the 1995 blockbuster-"Dilwale dulhania le jayenge" is a matter of time until it releases worldwide on 12th december. Giving tough competition to the the king of bollywood,aamir khan gifts "ghajini" to his fans in the christmas time(25th december).Now,who will emerge the final winner in this big fight is yet to be seen! So,big surprises of this year is not yet revealed.So,just wait'n'watch what's gonna happen!!
   

Time passing fast!!

With each passing days,tension is gradually building up! For certain weird reasons,interests from studies is decreasing day by day.On the other hand, dates of 2nd Prof.exam is coming close.Passing microbiology and pharmacology seems to be an ordeal in the truest sense!! However,i'm trying my level best ,not by mugging endless notes but by keeping myself positive.It may seem a bit funny & crazy but in this profession,as i have understood in these tedious two & half years...most of our colleages and even teachers are very much negative in their approach.So,to keep urself normal,u have to either overhear or simply ignore them.As someone had rightly said,no one is permanent friend or foe,so i have unterstood one simple thing......i have not come here to make friends neither enemies.Keep a healthy relationship with everyone & concentrate in your work,i mean studies for now instead of spending time in useless chit-chat & gossiping.Not that i am saying to mug up books endlessly,even i hate this habit!!,but one has many other things to do in life,isn't it?

End of exam!

Wow! exam has ended at last.am am writing b log after 1 month. i feel so relieved now!

about my forthcoming exam

My god! exam is knocking at the door destroying all the enjoyment of durgapuja.At times,i think that coming into this medical profession was the biggest mistake of my life!I'm quite nervous coz i haven't started my exam preparations....don't know whats gonna happen after 20 days????????
